Hi, I'm Anannya.

I'm a Full Stack Developer

I'm a developer transforming ideas into software, one feature at a time.
I'm somewhat of a 'Jack of Multiple Trades', as I love to get my hands dirty and try out new things, out of curiosity, but mostly just for the fun of it.
If this intrigues you, Let's connect!

About.

Hello! I'm Anannya, a USC Computer Science Master's candidate with a knack for building scalable solutions and a passion for impactful technology. From enhancing patient care systems at Athenahealth to optimizing real-time scooter tracking at Bounce, I apply my expertise in Python, Java, and a suite of backend technologies to solve complex challenges. I've also ventured into frontend development with Angular, Vue, and NextJS and am currently exploring Machine Learning.

Beyond technical skills, I actively contribute to the tech community through my involvement in ACM and the Society of Women Engineers, advocating for technology as a tool for positive change.

Outside of work, I love to bake delicious treats and feed my friends.

I'm actively looking for Software Development Engineering positions where I can utilize my love for code to create futuristic software. If you're looking for someone who blends analytical prowess with innovation and strategic insight, let's connect and explore how we can drive technology forward together! 🔗

Product Classification in E-Commerce Sites
2021
Springer: Progress in Advanced Computing and Intelligent Engineering (ICACIE)
Bangalore

The research utilizes supervised learning to categorize products into predefined catalog hierarchies based on their names and descriptions. Various machine learning models, including decision trees, SVM, random forest, logistic regression, and Naïve Bayes, were tested, with logistic regression achieving the highest accuracy at 91.55%.

Air Quality Monitor using Arduino
2021
International Journal of Computer Trends and Technology (IJCTT)
Bangalore

This research introduces an efficient, cost-effective, and user-friendly IoT-based indoor air quality monitor developed using Arduino Uno. The system detects harmful gases such as CO, CO2, CH4, SO2, Acetone, and NH3, sends sensor data to the cloud, and provides users with real-time updates and alerts through interactive graphs and email notifications. This initiative addresses the growing concern over indoor air pollutants, exacerbated by increased indoor time due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
